About Us

We are an established business operating since the 1980s. We currently have a fleet of six vehicles available for undertaking Transfers & Tours. These include Private Hire Taxis, Minibuses & Executive Hire Vehicles.

Job Position

Relief Drivers to cover Tours & Airport Transfers for April till October 2009 Season Onwards

General Hours

Sporadic jobs throughout the season. The majority of transfers are either early morning or afternoon with the occasional evening.

Pay

£7.00 Per Hour for Transfers
£9.00 Per Hour for Tours

Tax

P.A.Y.E charged at applicable individual rate. Working hours are calculated every Monday and paid either by cheque or directly into your bank account, whatever is preferable. Total hours worked is calculated by the minute. We don’t round up hours.

Your Suitability

These positions may possibly suit fit able-bodied retired persons of smart appearance with free time on their hands and a keen interest in driving.

Applicants should be comfortable in dealing with the public and be prepared to work occasional shifts at short notice. Ideally applicants should be within a 30-minute drive or less from our base and have their own transport to get to and from our base.

Our Vehicles

You must have experience in driving vehicles of equal size or larger than the vehicles
in our fleet as advertised on this website. Experience with both automatic and manual
transmissions would be advantageous. Our Vehicles
Our drivers have the sole responsibility for the safe keeping of our vehicles & trailers while in their possession. You must have experience in driving trailers and the ability to reverse with a trailer in tow.

Drivers Licence

A clean UK drivers licence held for 24 months minimum.

Private Hire Drivers Licence

To drive licenced private hire vehicles from our fleet Highland Council Private Hire Drivers Licence or Taxi Drivers Licence are required. If you currently don’t hold one, you need to purchase it from the Highland Council. The licence is valid for three years. You are the only licence holder, so you are not tied into working for one company during the licence term.

Outlined Duties

Drivers are expected to be versatile and be able to undertake the before mentioned outlined duties, while being adaptable and able to switch between different driving jobs and vehicles with ease.

No Smoking Policy

We operate a strict No Smoking Policy, which is applicable for all working hours
under our employ without exception.

Work Initiative

Drivers are required to work on their own initiative if and when our work schedule dictates and they must be able to abide by the rules, guide lines and polices as outlined by our company without exception.

Prospects

This is a long-term employment opportunity for somebody looking for some extra income. So we are looking for drivers with a long-term outlook.

Airport & City Transfer

Long Distance City & Airport Transfers.

Job Description

To undertake transfers to and from a host of destinations including Airports,
Rail Stations and Ferry Terminals in different Towns and Cities.

Drivers are required to help clients with their luggage. Suitcases can be up to 30Kg in weight.

Job Dress Code

Men

Dark blue or black trousers, black shoes, white or blue shirt with collar
and tie or a full suit in dark blue, dark grey or charcoal, if preferred.

Women

Dark blue or black trousers or knee length skirt, dark blue or black shoes, white
or blue shirt with collar & tie. Alternatively if preferred a full trouser suit in dark
blue, dark grey or charcoal with black shoes, white shirt with collar & tie.

Highland Tours

Driver for Full & Half-Day Highland Tour.

Job Description

To conduct guided tours good communication skills are an absolute necessity.
A good general knowledge of both ancient and recent history must be attained for
the places of interest that our fixed tours pass and visit as advertised on this website
to be able to answer clients’ questions with ease.
Drivers are required to help clients with their luggage. Suitcases can be up to 30Kg in weight.
