Leaving from Fort William our Highland Tour will take us through Glencoe and Glen Orchy
passing Kilchurn Castle on our way to the town of Inveraray. Inveraray attractions include Inveraray Castle and 19th century
Inveraray Jail. There is also the Maritime Museum and the Church Tower scaling 126 feet.
Next
we will pass through the Argyll town of Lochgilphead before stopping in Oban on the West Coast of Scotland. Oban has a Whisky
Distillery on the main street, which is open to visitors. On the Skyline above the town there is the striking structure of
McCaig’s Folly.
Its worth taking the time to enjoy a walk along Oban’s Esplanade,
before we make our way back to Fort William, as our excursion nears an end. The views across Oban bay and of the town itself
are stunning.
